To educate and equip physicians in training and practice to:
Understand and navigate the structural and social determinants of health including structural racism and health system bias, towards eliminating health disparities.
Partner with patients, communities, interprofessional colleagues, and stakeholders to promote health equity through trustworthy & trauma-informed strengths-based collaborative coalitions.
Effectively advocate for justice through multi-level transformative strategies in clinical practice, medical education, quality improvement & research, and policy.
Our Vision
To develop the best trustworthy, anti-racist, structurally competent, and culturally humble physician change leaders who are inspired and empowered to transform systems to bring about health equity and justice through interprofessional coalitions and in partnership with the communities they serve.
